Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Game Modes

There are four main game modes in CS: GO, each with unique objectives and a set of rules. You can quickly enter any of the following game modes from within your game interface.

Classic: Competitive

In the first game mode, you can play on your own or with a group of friends. It is a 5 VS 5 match and best out of 30. You have access to all the classic Counter-Strike maps and adhere to the standers CS rules.

Classic: Casual

The nest mode is as stated in the title -Casual. Players are free to log in and explore the maps. As well, you will engage in firefights and receive bonus rewards for kills.

Demolition

A fast-paced game mode where players handoff between attacking and defending a bombsite. Players cycle through a series of weapons as they register a kill.

Arms Race

A progressive game mode where the objective is to register as many kills as possible. For every kill recorded, the player receives a new weapon instantly. The final weapon is the golden knife and signifies victory.
